Ahoy to you all and do hope you can join us on the waterfront to view the annual turnaround of the USS Constitution in the Boston Harbor. We have an amazing time on the turnaround voyage but especially this year as the Ship will be going into dry dock for the year of 2015! We enjoy the sun, the wind, the beautiful scenes along the Harborfront and the experience of listening to the USS Constitution Museum narrator as we travel from the Charlestown Navy Yard all the way down and around the islands in Boston Harbor and usually to the cannon shots of the Castle Island vicinity.
If you enroll early, and I would so encourage you to join the USS Constitution Museum as we have, you can obtain tickets for this voyage with a lovely brunch as well.
My family and I look forward to this trip each year, we have so many good memories of the Charlestown Navy Yard and the Constitution, my Mother was one of the first women ever allowed on the annual turnaround cruise, a high honor and a step forward for women! A proud moment!
