Mobile Home financing in Massachusetts

Thinking of purchasing a Mobile Home in Massachusetts?

Now is the time to begin planning for 2013.

Not ever lender will lend on a Mobile Home, oh yes some of them are very lovely and in great settings too.

It has nothing to do with the quality of the construction it has to do with the fact that a mobile home is not considered REAL PROPERTY or real estate as we know it.  It is considered personal property, similar to a motor vehicle, trailer, boat, all personal property.

Below I have listed three top choices in obtaining financing for mobile homes in Massachusetts:

First Credit Corp, PRI Loan and AFR Mortgage for your review.

If now is the time for you to be considering this move, please give me a call and I will be happy to review with you the steps to take in the sale of your existing home and what is important to look for in the details of purchasing your new home.

I have only help a seller on one mobile home in our area.  Financing was an issue.

We have the same issue here in finding financing on mobiles.  We also keep a list of those companies that do financing.

It is a real issue here in Massachusetts.  Buyers who have been associated with a bank for a long term sometimes take offense when their lifelong lender refuses to lend on this type of home purchase and it is important to know it has nothing to do with them, (sometimes they think it is  their age) or their finances it is all about it not being a real piece of property and the bank or institution just does not have the proper vehicle for them to make the purchase.

Of course then we do get into qualifying the mobile home too with age etc for financing, oh that's a topic for another blog!

thanks MaryBeth
